Egypt’s national airline is Egypt Air, and the company offer flights from a number of locations through Egypt. Flights from Britain are available through British Airways, with an economy class one way fare to Cairo coming in at around £400. Other operators offering flights to the country include Air France, JAT, KLM, Lufthansa, Olympic Airways and SWISS.

Flights from London to Cairo take approximately four hours and 45 minutes. New York to Cairo clocks in at around 14 hours 25 minutes. Cairo’s airport offers bus and taxi services into the city, along with a bank, bureau de change, car hire, bars and restaurants, along with many other services. The same services can be expected of Egypt’s other international airports at Alexandria and Luxor.
